Hello there, I have this problem with my Satellite A notebook with Vista Home Premium 32 bit where the Intel Pro Wireless connection keeps disabling itself after several minutes or several hours of usage. None of them have worked. At the moment, I am using the oldest driver that came preinstalled with Vista. The time now is And it will never come back on. Though, I doubt it’s a router issue, my other laptop runs fine without any wireless dropouts. The drop outs aren’t as frequent as the newer drivers, but the problem still happens.

Having to reboot the notebook all the time is no fun. After a few more days of testing, it is becoming more apparent it’s a wire,ess issue.

When Wireless gave the newest satellite a200 wireless a go at the start of the week, it disabled 15mins in, but I guess that was expected since that satellite a200 wireless the whole reason why I went back to the old driver in the first place.
If it still happens, then perhaps the Wifi card needs replacing. After bit of googling, and I see that alot of other people have the same problem too, particularly with Dell notebooks. Though, I doubt it’s wirwless router issue, my other laptop runs fine without any wireless dropouts.

That’s what I feel, this is coincidence probably. He chosen the other channel on router and Wlan card and since then the Wlan is working ok. Results 1 to 4 of 4.
Once or twice an hour. With this newer drivers dated onwardsI find it disables multiple times a day. Because several months back, satellite a200 wireless notebook kept shutting itself off for no apparent reason, maybe satellite a200 wireless or twice a week.
With the old one, once every couple of hours. I’ve been running with the old driver for a week and the connection satelljte disabled about 4 times.
The only way to reenable the wireless iwreless, is to reboot the satellite a200 wireless. At the moment, I am using the oldest driver that came preinstalled with Vista. So I updated the BIOS, which actually fixed the random shutdowns, but since then, I have been experiencing this wireless problem. None of them have worked.
I got all drivers from the satellite a200 wireless http: I think I have tried just about everything I can, satellite I’m here pretty much as a last resort. I know this is a very common problem, as I see the same problem amongst the other threads on this forum.
